- That's Probably your Problem using BitCom.
- I understand what you are going through, I messed with
- BitCom for about 6 Months and hated to dump it because
- I was used to using its commands and did not want to change
- com-programs.

- When I finely gave up and changed over to Qmodem and worked
- with the strings for a short while every thing started working OK

- By the way It seams that most modems work just fine with the
- default settings of ATZ or AT&F and there are a lot of com-programs
- out there that are Public domain that work just fine
